I shot this sunset in Mexico while on my first vacation with my own "new" step children. Having a new "family" has shown me thigns about myself, helped me expand my sites, and attempt to provide a good example.
This may be perhaps the photo I'm most proud to have taken--with the Eiffel Tower, light beam, and moon all composed into one beautiful shot. It brought to life a favorite quote of mine by Mary Anne Radmacher: "I am not the same having watched the moon shine on the other side of the world." When in Alaska--you are in a place so vast and enormous--you can't help but feel dwarfed by the immensity of it all. It is a fantastic place to get in touch with the natural gifts the world has to offer.
While honeymooning in Caribbean--the love, respect, and admiration for my wife--who is also my best friend-- grew again--to new heights of appreciation.
